Blueberry Season

This summer, we had a good crop of blueberries. The bushes were just loaded!

Lots and lots of picking was done by Tom and Helene.

Overall we have about a dozen bushes.

This is what they looked like after they were picked and put into their pint containers. Some of the blueberries were BIG!

Most of the berries were sold to a local market, where for years Tom had sold his berries.

Of course, we had to find a way to eat what was left! First we made blueberry cobbler. This is how it looked before and after cooking.

Then we made 32 jars of jam.

We also made peach and blueberry crisp and blueberry banana bread. Yum Yum!
